Meanwhile, Richie gleefully informs his sister he knows the game she's been playing with Ryan and warns she'll have to pay dearly to ensure his silence. In the cell in the Sudan, Aidan explains to Jake how a rescue chopper should already be on the way. Back in Pine Valley, Zach and Ryan scramble to find a new strategy to extricate the prisoners.

Eric's thrilled to see Kristen has arrived for his wedding. Felicia suggests to Eric that there is still time for him to cancel the wedding and have a fancy dinner together instead. When Rick accompanies Taylor to the ceremony, he insists that they can be together in spite of what "people may say." As Brooke and Ridge talk about Caroline's dying wish, Ashley interrupts and asks how Katie is. Sami presses E.J. to admit that he was meeting with Nicole but he avoids answering. After they kiss, Daniel tells Chelsea that they can't be together. He points out how much older he is and reminds her she has Nick in her life. Chelsea insists she doesn't love Nick anymore but Daniel claims he will only stay in Salem if she accepts that they cannot be together. Marlena is shocked to find John has replaced the painting of Stefano that hides the wall safe with a painting of her. Sami interrupts and admits that he told John about their stormy past.

While Amber worries to Jana about scaring Daniel away by asking him to move into her apartment, Daniel asks his mother for her key to the penthouse so he can surprise Amber. Later, Amber is relieved and pleased to find Daniel has moved in. Victoria stops by the magazine offices and tells her brother that their mother has set a wedding date with David. Tired of the endless bickering between Sharon and Phyllis, Jack calls in Jamie Whitfield to handle some problems at the magazine. Jamie suggests some radical changes for the magazine, telling the two women that they need to work harder.

Faith and Natalie are thrilled when Lily returns to the farm and announces that she is here to stay. When the girls worry that Holden may come home late and find Lily asleep in bed, they convince her to go to him. Jack arrives for the re-opening of Metro and offers his help. Relying on Holden, Carly claims she doesn't need his help. This leads to Jack and Holden exchanging words.
