HOLLIS -- At its meeting on April 23, the Hollis-Brookline Rotary Club inducted its newest member, Hollis Selectman Mark LeDoux.

Rotary President Richard Mills quoted the Rotary International motto in reminding LeDoux and all Rotarians that "the fundamental obligation of every Rotary member, every day, is to deliver to our communities, our Nation, and our world 'Service Above Self.'"

The next major Rotary fund-raising event is the Lorden Oil Apple Country Fast 5K road race on June 5 at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds from the race are expected to provide over half of the approximately $20,000 annually that the Rotary contributes to worthy causes.
